Attach a Form Task Option
Motion.io’s forms are a simple, powerful, and automated way to onboard clients and get the information you need in white-labeled client portals.
This article will provide instructions for both creating custom forms with Motion.io's drag-and-drop builder and sending a client a form to complete directly within their portals.

Creating Forms
There are two ways to create forms using the same drag-and-drop builder: from the Form Library or within the Task Composer.
Create Forms Using the Task Composer
Clicking the "Form" option in Motion.io's task composer will open a modal window that allows you to select from forms you've already created or create an entirely new one.
To create a new form, click the "Create Form" button. After saving, the form will automatically be added to your Forms Library, allowing you to reuse it for tasks you create in other projects or templates.
Create Forms in the Forms Library
In addition to creating forms from Motion.io's task composer, you can create them from your account's forms library, which stores all the forms within your account. To do this, click "Forms" from the sidebar and "Create Form" in the upper left corner.
How to Attach Forms to Client Tasks
To attach a form when creating or editing a Client Task, click the button labeled "Form". This will prompt you to choose to attach either a pre-created form from your library or to create a new form.
How to Require a Signature on Forms
After attaching a form to a client task, you can click on the "Signature" task option to automatically add a signature field to the bottom of your selected form.
👋 Tip: When you require a client to provide their signature on a form, your team can download a PDF copy of the completed submission with their signature included. Click here to learn more.
