You can find both report overviews under the Team section of your left-hand navigation bar.

Productivity Reporting

The Reporting tab offers an at-a-glance view of key productivity metrics across your Motion.io account. These reports help you quantify the time and effort saved through automations and task completion.

Inside the Reporting dashboard, you’ll find visual insights on:

  • ✅ Tasks Completed
  • ⚙️ Automation Runs Triggered
  • ✉️ Emails Eliminated
  • ⏱️ Estimated Hours Saved
  • 💵 Estimated Dollars Saved

Each of these metrics is calculated automatically using your project and task activity—giving you a clear, data-backed snapshot of Motion.io’s ROI for your team.

⏱ Time Tracking

Motion.io’s time tracking feature eliminates the need for third-party tools by allowing your team to log hours directly on tasks. From tracking billable vs. non-billable work to exporting reports for clients, everything is built-in and accessible.

How It Works

Team members can log time on their assigned tasks from either the global Tasks page or within a project’s task list. Each time entry includes:

  • Time worked
  • Time Category (e.g., Design, Admin, Development)
  • Optional notes

Once saved, time logs appear in the Reporting tab under Time Tracking.

Why Reporting Matters

Between productivity metrics and time tracking, Motion.io gives you everything you need to:

  • Demonstrate the value of your services
  • Quantify how automation is reducing busywork
  • Ensure accurate billing and resource planning
  • Identify at-risk projects or inefficient workflows

Whether you're a growing agency or scaling team, these insights help you make smarter decisions—and prove the impact of your work.
