Direct File Uploads

In addition to providing files your team requests through file collection tasks, clients can upload files at any time through their portal's "Files" page.

This article will explain how direct file uploads work in Motion.io and how clients can use this functionality.

How Direct File Uploads Work

Clients needing to provide your team with files outside of a file collection task can do so from their portal's "Files" page. On this page, clicking the "Upload Files" button on the right side of their folder will open a modal into which they can drag and drop files.

By default, files that clients upload directly are available in the overall "Files" folder. You can organize these files into folders that can be shared or hidden for clients to access in their portals. Click here to learn more about how these folders work.
