Document Send Limits
Each of Motion.io's subscription plans contains a limit on the number of documents you can send per month. This article will explain how to check how many documents you've used in a month and what types of activities count towards this limit.
How Do Document Send Limits Work in Motion.io?
Document limits in Motion.io are set based on the plan you subscribe to (see the "Compare fundamental" section of our pricing page for details on plan limits). Once a client task with an attached document becomes "Active," it counts towards that month's limit.
What Doesn't Count as a Document Sent:
The document limit does not factor in tasks saved as drafts, document templates, or documents included in templates. Only document tasks set to "Active" count towards your overall limit.
Please note that if you move a "Active" task with a document to "Completed", "Archived", or "Draft", the task will still count towards the billing cycle it was activated in.
How to View the Number of Documents You've Sent
To see how many documents you've used in the current billing cycle, go to your account's "Billing" page and click "Usage" from the top navigation menu.
How to Purchase Additional Document Sends
When your team reaches the document send limit on your plan, you’ll receive an email notification. You can continue creating document tasks beyond the limit; each additional task will be added to your next billing cycle at a rate of $0.80.
